Greetings Shipmates!

If you served aboard USS SAVANNAH (AOR-4) for any amount of time as ships company, air detachment or in TDY status between the years 1970 and 1995, your SAVANNAH Shipmates cordially invite you to join our Association today.

Since organizing as an Association on November 1, 2001 we have held five reunions at:

May 01-04, 2003 Savannah (Port Wentworth), Georgia
Aug 04-07, 2005 St. Louis, Missouri
May 20-24, 2007 Virginia Beach, Virginia
Nov 09-12, 2008 Savannah, Georgia
Aug 29-Sep 1, 2010 Charleston, South Carolina

How are the reunions financed ?
By membership dues, generous donations from your SAVANNAH Shipmates and reunion registration fees. Please note that the reunion registration fee is reduced for active Association members by the same amount as your paid membership dues. The reunion planner runs into a lot of early expense for the memorabilia item purchases that are given to the reunion attendees as well as catering and tour company deposits.

How much are the membership dues for 2011/2012 ?
$25.00 for the entire two year period ending December 31, 2012.

How do I join ?
Click on 2011/2012 Membership Form. Your browser will open a new window for a "printer-friendly" 2011/2012 Membership Application / Renewal form. Who to make the check payable to and where to send it is on the form.

How can I make a donation?
By adding whatever you want to contribute to the check for membership dues. If you cannot budget a donation at this time but later on want to help out additionally, just refer back to the Application / Renewal form for the address.
